It all starts with a meeting.
We talk about your brand, your vision and what you hope to achieve by working with us.
Once we understand the intention of the video and the resources available to produce it we can move onto the pitch.
The Pitch
We take everything we have learnt about your brand and compile it into a brainstorm of visual and storytelling ideas that form the concept of what we envision the video to look and feel like.
Once we decide we want to work together and the paperwork is out of the way we can start the Pre-Production process.
Pre-Production
A.K.A : The Plan
It is during the Pre-production process where we’ll get into more detail on exactly how we are going to achieve this task.
This includes shot listing and storyboarding along with logistical elements such as: Cast & Crew, Locations, Equipment Rentals, Shoot Dates, Etc
Once both parties are on the same page and know exactly what we are doing, we can sign off and take the next step.
Production
A.K.A : The Shoot
Here we go! We’ve done all the hard work in the Pre-production process, now we can start filming!
This is where storyboards turn into real images. Where script turns into dialogue. Where vision becomes reality.
Post-Production
The Post-Production process is where we take the footage and edit it into a story.
A.K.A : Where the magic happens
We pick out the best takes of each shot, color correct and color grade, mixing and matching with the purpose to visually impact the audience as intended.
Ok but how long does that take?
Depending on the video, it can take anywhere between one and three weeks to receive a first draft.
Some factors to consider are: The length of Production, and therefore the amount of footage that needs to be edited; The complexity of the envisioned final result; If and how many VFX shots are needed; Other.
Once a first draft is delivered, the client may choose to request changes in the edit. The number of revisions is specified prior to start of pre-production.
Once you are happy with the end result then it’s a-
It’s a wrap!
